2022 Bill & Noreen Cutler Endowed Scholarship Recipient
Arizona State University
W.P. Carey School of Business
Biggest academic accomplishment: I definitely think my biggest academic accomplishment is making the Dean's list every semester I’ve attended ASU! I'm hoping after this year to graduate Summa Cum Laude.
My favorite ASU experience: It is very hard to choose my favorite ASU experience out of the three years I have been living life to the fullest. One really special experience was watching my brother graduate this year from ASU after working so hard towards his degree for about six years. It was so inspiring to see how many different and diverse students were able to walk across that stage and be celebrated. It made me very proud to go to ASU and so excited to be able to graduate from such an amazing university. (Football games aren’t too bad of an experience either haha)!

Dear Mr. Paul Cutler,
I wanted to start this letter with a huge thank you. You have lifted so much stress off of my shoulders for this upcoming school year and I cannot even begin to explain my gratitude. The Bill and Noreen Cutler Endowed Scholarship Fund will greatly impact me throughout my Senior year. My name is Julia Crippen, an incoming Senior, double majoring in Finance and Supply Chain Management.
The most impactful leadership experience that I have had at ASU was being an on-campus Residential Engagement Leader during my Sophomore year. In this position, I worked with the Community Assistant on my floor and was an on-campus mentor for freshman business students. I lived with and was responsible for 2 floors of freshman students and planned weekly events as well as had weekly check-ins with each individual. While this leadership position was challenging because of Covid, I was able to truly challenge myself to get students to engage and create the most rewarding freshman year possible for them.
I have had an incredible academic experience so far at Arizona State. I am extremely thankful for all that Barrett, the Honors College as well as W. P. Carey has provided for my education. I started college with pursuing my Finance degree and added a double major of Supply Chain Management. This summer, I am working for Boeing in Mesa, Arizona as an Associate Procurement Agent. I have already learned so much and I am looking forward to continuing working for them when school starts.
This scholarship has lifted a great amount of stress for my family and me, while providing me with the opportunity to focus on my other academic and family financial responsibilities. By receiving this scholarship, I can go into my Senior year with no stress about buying books or other expenses. That is something I could never say thank you enough for. I cannot explain how thankful I am for this scholarship.
Sincerely,
Julia Crippen
